Like many readers, I always dreamed of being a writer. Thanks to social media, I was able to follow my favorite authors and hoped to glean some words of wisdom as I pounded out half-formed ideas with alarming regularity. I have typewriter written manuscripts, outdated floppy disks, and years of trying under my belt before releasing Past Hurts in 2014. Realizing my dream at 44 was amazing and four years and four series later, I still pinch myself to make sure it's real. \n\nI am a firm believer in marriage equality, love at first sight, power dynamics, and happily ever after. I'm a lover of strong secondary characters and series filled with families—biological or chosen.
